Don moved to Montgomery Center, Vt. (Jay Peak Ski Area) in 1968 and opened his first Real Estate office there in 1969. He moved this main office to the Mountain Road in Stowe in 1983.

Nancy is a "native Vermonter"....born and raised on the Morgan Horse Farm in Middlebury. She joined Don in the real estate firm in 1988.

The Bordner's business philosophy had always been to concentrate on the real estate Buyers needs—to find them exactly what they want…searching "all" properties currently listed in the MLS System.

Now, with all the new Real Estate laws, we practice 100% Buyers Brokerage,....we do not take any residential listings, we do not represent any residential sellers, nor do we represent any particular real estate community.

Don and Nancy belong to all the local Multiple Listing Services, the Local, State and National Board of Realtors.....these are the real estate services that collect the listings of properties from all of the local real estate companies and then distribute that info to each individual real estate company and agent....so that everyone knows who has what for-sale.

We operate just the same as we did years ago when we did take listings, but now we represent the Buyers 100%....we are on the "Buyers" team and work for them.

The best part of this service for our Buyer Clients is that they do not pay a fee, at anytime, to their Buyers Broker.....if a sale is made, then the Buyers Brokers commission is a portion of the total sales commission that the listing Broker was paid....this Is standard practice, all agreed upon, office to office, thru the MLS listing services.
